Our growing girl!

This morning Emily had her 2 month check up. It was her first time going to the doctor up here in North Carolina. We are taking her to our old pediatrician that Jackson used to see when we lived here before. He will also go back to the same doctor when he is due for his next check up. Emily did great today! She was all smiles laying on the table while we waited for the doctor to come in. Her measurements were as follows:

Weight: 10 lbs. 13.6 oz.(50th%)
Height: 23 3/4 inches (75th%)

Her only issue is her clogged tear ducts which cause a yellowish drainage to collect around her eyes. The doctor assured us that it is a common issue that she will probably outgrow by the time she is 1 year old. If she does not outgrow it, she will just require a minor surgery to open up the tear ducts.

Jackson continues to thrive! He absolutely loves his preschool. Its no wonder he does.... the teachers and classmates are great! They are always doing fun activities at school. Each month a different theme and each day a different project. They have a music teacher, story tellers, and scientists that come visit. They play on the playground after lunch everyday. If the weather is nasty then they go to the gym. They take an adventure walk around the campus everyday to look at animals and things. Toby and I are very pleased!
